Wallace Wattles PDF Book The Science Of Getting Rich: Foundation Of Other Law Of Attraction Theories

By Marie M. Clarke

Wallace D. Wattles (1860 - 1911) was the author of his best known book 'The Science of getting Rich'. Published over a century ago, Wallace Wattles Science of Getting Rich remains an interesting read for anyone interested in improving themselves through the Law of Attraction.This powerful book is intended for men and women who have made their minds up that they want to get rich. Only by aligning ourselves with the positive forces of natural laws can we gain unlimited access to the creative mind and its abundant rewards. The Science of Getting Rich holds the secret to how economic and emotional security can be achieved in a practical way while maintaining a loving and harmonious relationship with all of life.

Everything we see, smell, taste, touch, hear and experience is created from one thing - our thoughts which are energy. And everything you see in your life was a thought before it became manifest. The car you drive, the house you live in, the job you have, the places you go, the friends you talk to; they all started with thoughts.Our life is not just a random selection of things thrown at us at random times. What we have in our lives is there because of the thoughts we have. At one point you had to decide what car you were going to drive, even if it was not what you really wanted to be driving, your thoughts directed you to the decision you made (even if the truth of your logic was faulty ie. you told yourself you could not afford anything better).

You have the ability to become whoever you want to be and to create the life you want. If you are not where you want to be now, think about times you had clear decisions to go one way or another, the paths you choose take you where you are going. Our thoughts are energy, so to design a different life, start making different choices (thinking different thoughts).Next you must take action on the new choices you make. It will be difficult at first and you will meet with resistance. But new thoughts alone will not get you what you want. The Science of Getting Rich says;

Unfortunately we are so conditioned to block wealth and abundance and thinking that being wealthy is a bad thing. You must have got rich through being a crook, gambling or something immoral. It will probably take time to develop this mindset on a habitual level.You have to take action now and find a system that works. Look at successful people. What are they doing that you are not. They take action and by doing this they create and manifest their own luck. They focus on what they want and do not allow themselves to be distracted.Wallace D Wattles regarded 'getting rich' as an exact science and outlined his principles of creating wealth in his timeless classic. Published in 1910, this book has inspired many philosophers who believe in his principle that one has to do things in a "certain way" to get rich. Anyone doing things in that way would undoubtedly become rich and successful. According to Wattles, one has to focus on what he/she wants to be able to move in the right direction.

Third, Where other teach that you can control everything with your mind, The Science of Getting Rich insists on taking ACTIONS. Wallace D. Wattles is clear about this fact in 2 chapters called "Acting in a Certain Way" and "Efficient Action". In fact, Wattles even warns us against the temptation of relying solely on the power of the mind to attract riches to our life. According to the author of The Science of Getting Rich, the lack of focus on Actions is the most important reason why so many other theories about the power of the mind fail. As Mr. Wattles says it, by cultivating a certain state of mind, you may "attract" the things you want... but it is only through efficient actions that you will get what you want. The Science of Getting Rich doesn't ask people to work like workaholics, but to act efficiently.

Wattles knew the importance of money in building a complete and successful life. He also felt that unless you had the money, it was impossible to rise to your true potential in terms of both talent and soul. In his book, he revealed the secrets of wealth accumulation that are applicable even in modern times. He believed that man's thoughts greatly influenced the way he acted and the way he thought could actually shape his life. The key is to dismiss all negative thoughts and replace them with positive ones to consciously use the power of thought - this is how the Law of Attraction works! Wallace D. Wattles, in his 1910 book The Science of Getting Rich, details how you can get rich but his reasons for doing so are much more than the simple attainment of money and wealth. Prosperity - however you define it - is a timeless desire. According to Wattles, getting rich has a very important premise: He asserts that the desire for wealth is not specifically or solely centered on money but rather it is a measurable way of expressing our desire for a fuller, better, more meaningful life.

According to Wattles each of us has the right to be rich. He asserts that it simply isn't possible to live a really complete or successful life unless one is rich. To develop talent and unfold the soul requires the use of many things which require money to purchase.Of course, there is a science of getting rich and it is an exact science and has nothing to do with your environment or the possession of talent. Getting rich is the result of doing things in a Certain Way that causes success.There is abundance of opportunity everywhere for the man who will go with the tide; instead of trying to swim against it. Wattles rightly points out that everyone has the potential for success by searching for and embracing the opportunities available to them.

In saying that you must hold your vision while you are doing each act, however trivial or commonplace, I do not mean to say that it is necessary at all times to see the vision distinctly to its smallest details. It should be the work of your leisure hours to use your imagination on the details of your vision, and to contemplate them until they are firmly fixed upon memory. If you wish speedy results, spend practically all your spare time in this practice.

How riches come to you is if your business transactions operate on the basis of fair exchange i.e. you give the buyer something of greater use value than the cash value you take. In addition, we must ask largely for what we want, have a clear picture in our mind and claim it as if it were already ours. In other words, we must dream big, see it clearly and behave as if we have already achieved the thing we desire in order for it to be. This is possibly the most powerful concept in the book and is explored in other books such as The Secret by Rhonda Byrne and Think and Grow Rich by Napolean Hill.A mental attitude of gratitude can be the one thing missing from people who live their lives rightly in all other. This lack of gratitude keeps them in poverty. Gratitude will ensure your thinking is that of supply as unlimited. Faith is born of gratitude. The grateful mind expects good things, and expectation becomes faith. It's good to cultivate the habit of gratefulness and give thanks continuously. It can be a good idea to keep a gratitude diary on your bedside table and writing 3 things daily that you are grateful for. This will bring you into harmonious relations with the good in everything, and the good in everything will move toward you.
